My first custom order is complete!

A kind friend wanted a custom Miss Piggy journal, and I just finished it, ready to send off later this week.

Once I have done a few more and have developed a solid layout, I'll be offering custom photo journals.  I'm still experimenting with my methods, but look for them beginning in August.

Designing a Line

I have been advised to work on a more cohesive group of items for my shop, so I'm now in the process of developing a "fall line" of products.

How many pieces constitutes a "line?"  Should I stick to one good theme or a few?  How large a range of products should I carry?  Certainly I'll have journals, but should I extend the line to include pottery?

Other etsy sellers who sell their "product lines" seasonally seem to list only about ten items per line at a time.  It seems like most of them develop new pieces throughout the season, but ten sounds like a pretty good goal for right now.  And just so I don't get bored with one idea, I'll develop two or three.

At least that's the plan.
